Volunteer

Your involvement in the lives of young people can make a difference in the community. Children that learn and spend time with adults are more likely to become involved in their communities and help future generations. Below are the current and ongoing volunteer
opportunities.

"Reach Out to Youth"

The goal of the "Reach out to Youth" program is to bridge the gap between the baby boomer generation (those born between the years of 1946 and 1964) and younger generations. The James C. Caldwell Community Center is looking for volunteers to mentor, tutor and speak to children in grades K-8 about their own experiences and the importance of community and civic involvement.

If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please contact Sabrina Meek at 419-242-5000 ext. 212.

School Safe Haven Program

The School Safe Haven Program is in need of volunteers to tutor children and occasionally cook with them. Please call Johnathan Nichols for more information, 419-729-4654 ext. 201.
